Aromatic Arinto - The Real Review

As written by Ralph Kyte-Powell in Cellar Talk Wines...

"The idea of adapting grape varieties to Australia’s particular climatic conditions is gaining pace, with the impetus of global warming and a drier, hotter future as very persuasive drivers. Arinto is a Portuguese white grape that works well in these conditions and the South Australian Riverland looks a promising place for it.

This example has soft lemon and peach aromas of real charm with a savoury herbal note underneath. It has a smooth mid-palate with quenching acidity worked through it, finishing dry and appetising with light phenolic firmness".
