Fermented with wild yeast to highlight its natural character and matured for 12 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels, it reveals a layered palate of texture, energy and finesse.
The Story
Every step walked through vineyards, wineries or the finest restaurants in Australia and around the world, I have gathered small gems of information that have led to the curation of the finest wine made by Ricca Terra. Such a wine does not just happen! It takes vision, determination and time. Time is the essential ingredient. Our subconscious sometimes tricks us about the availability of time, but finite is something time is not! Time gifts opportunities, failures and rewards. If seized appropriately, a legacy can evolve!
Gently tended by hand through meticulous pruning and harvesting, the grapes from these vineyards are transformed.
The wine undergoes fermentation with natural yeast and matures gracefully for twelve months within the embrace of seasoned and new French oak barrels.
