"If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun" was once quoted by actor Katharine Hepburn, how true! This fun/break the rules blend consists of three Portuguese varieties, Tinta Barroca, Arinto & Alvarinho.
The Story
Our minimal intervention wines are all about testing boundaries and having fun. We challenge anyone to find a blend of Tinta Barroca, Arinto and Alvarinho anywhere in the world, a mix of red and white Portuguese grape varieties in one wine. One may be asking why? The response is 'why not' and taste the wine and experience how not following the rules can create a very unique wine.
Love Negroni? Then you will love our Funky Red Blend. Herbal, a bit rooty and lots of dark fruits and citrus. One thing that is obvious is its cloudy appearance. This is a ’non filtered’ wine which provides a mouthful of flavour. The palate is rich and has lots of length.
The label of this wine provide an insight of the wine, its full of colour, fun and flavour.
