ORIGINATES FROM:
A white grape variety originating from Portugal.
VITICULTURE:
This grape variety has an ability to maintain natural acid even in warm viticultural climates, which is essential for making high quality wines. Bud burst is very similar to Chardonnay (early/middle September). Growth habits of the vegetative shoots are up-right (imagine Sauvignon Blanc). The clusters are tight but grape skins are thick.Â
CHARACTERISTICS:
Lemon zest, grapefruit, beeswax & chamomile.
PAIRS WITH:
Rich seafood or white meat.
